The Story Behind Jenna Leigh Travels

I’ve always loved to travel and have been fascinated by hotels for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I spent hours watching Samantha Brown on the Travel Channel and dreaming about the places I would one day explore. For me, the best part of travel is finding a hotel that feels connected to its destination, a place that could only exist there. The comfort of a beautiful bed, late-night room service, and a cozy robe isn’t bad either.

Over time, I became the go-to travel planner for my family and friends, not because I had been everywhere but because I loved researching destinations, hotels, and restaurants. I started booking flights, organizing trips, and planning our annual girls’ getaways.

By my late twenties, I realized I wanted to turn that passion into something more. I joined Fora in 2023 after working with two other agencies, and my business has grown quickly. What began as planning trips for friends and family has turned into a thriving side business planning honeymoons, group trips, and family vacations to incredible places like Italy, Tahiti, Japan, and Greece. I am now focused on creating more elevated experiences for my clients, building trips that celebrate thoughtful design, comfort, and a sense of place.

A Few Fun Facts About Me

I’m obsessed with my dog, Theodore (Theo for short). He’s a five-year-old Labradoodle and truly my best friend.

I have a Master’s in Public Health, and my full-time career is in healthcare strategy and operations. Most of my professional life has been spent managing programs, analyzing ROI, and finding ways to bring more value to every project I take on—skills that definitely carry over into planning thoughtful, high-value travel experiences.

I live with a variety of chronic illnesses, and while I’m not an expert in every experience, I’ve learned how to navigate the world and travel in ways that support my health and energy.

Like any good lactose intolerant foodie, I don’t discriminate based on milk content. My motto is to try anything once (yes, even bugs), especially when traveling.

Favorite foods: dumplings, sushi, and pasta—always.

My go-to rest and reset destinations are Cabo and Hawaii.

My all-time favorite city is Paris.

I grew up houseboating and boating, and I’ll take any excuse to be out on the water.

I’ve driven in eight different countries.

My top honeymoon recommendations are Greece, St. Lucia, Maui, and Mallorca.

My bucket list includes: The Cotswolds in the Spring, Food tasting in Puglia, A safari during the Great Migration, Swimming in the gatorade-blue water in Turks and Caicos, Relaxing in French Polynesia, City-hopping through Vietnam, Sailing down the Amazon on a luxury river cruise

You Have Questions

I've got answers

1. How far in advance should we reach out to start planning?
This is highly dependent on the trip and time of year you're planning to go! In general, for the best rates and availability, I recommend between 6-9 months before departure.
2. What kind of perks do we get working with you?
This is dependent on the hotel, but the standard perks package usually includes room upgrades, resort credits, free breakfast, early check-in, and late check-out.
3. Will I pay more on accommodations or trip components by working with you?
Nope! You typically won't pay any more than you would if you booked on your own. Sometimes, I’m even able to offer better, non-public rates available exclusively to travel advisors!
4. Why should I bother working with you?
There are so many answers to this! If you're someone that loves to do your own research, I'm happy to support with simply adding perks to your reservation. If you're someone who finds travel planning stressful, I can step in and handle the details. I rely on trusted relationships, training, and vetted partners to ensure safe, smooth, high-value trips.
5. Do you specialize in any specific locations?
Nope! While I often book European honeymoons or Mexico getaways, I work with international partners and stay up to date on destinations worldwide.
6. Do you assist with last-minute changes or emergencies while I’m traveling?
Generally, yes. If I’ve booked the service, either I or my in-country partner will be available to help if something comes up mid-travel.
7. Can you accommodate accessibility or dietary needs?
Absolutely! As someone with chronic illnesses, I understand how important it is to feel supported. I'm happy to help with any accessibility or dietary needs.
8. Do you create fully customized itineraries or use set templates?
Every itinerary is fully customized. No templates, no copy/paste—everything is built for you.
9. Can we still earn loyalty points with hotels or travel suppliers by booking through you?
Yes! I have access to member rates (Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, etc.). Provide your membership number and I’ll add it to your reservation.
10. Can I book some parts of my trip on my own?
Yes. You can specify your preferences on my intake form.
11. Have you personally visited the destinations you recommend?
I’ve visited many destinations, but not all. When recommending places I haven’t been yet, I rely on trusted advisors, client feedback, and vetted in-country partners.

your journey, perfectly planned
